9 Celebrities In Favor Of CBD

Celebrities—they’re just like us, even when it comes to using CBD to cope with pain, anxiety, or other diseases. The growing CBD trend is stretching from both the older and younger generations to the Hollywood Hills.

Kristen Bell
Bell has spoken out regarding her anxiety and recently, using the new ‘questions’ feature on Instagram, a follower asked how she copes. In Bell’s response, she noted that she uses CBD from @lordjones, and to “Always keep trying. Don’t give in. Talk to friends, [a] therapist, take CBD or a medication, get outdoors, work out, write down lists of positive things.”

Jennifer Anniston
Recently, Jennifer Anniston spoke about CBD with US Weekly, stating that “CBD helps with pain, stress and anxiety,” and noted that “. . .it has all the benefits of Marijuana without the high.”

Olivia Wilde
After starring in the Broadway play 1984, Wilde told The New York Times that she had been using CBD for relief stating, “My body was wrecked. My neck was really tight…The CBD has relaxing benefits, and the idea is to avoid using too many painkillers.”

Alessandra Ambrosio
Ambrosio, when questioned on how she best prepares for Victoria’s Secret runway recently stated, “The most important thing to do [to prep for the Victoria’s Secret Show] is to sleep eight hours the night before but it’s hard because the mind gets anxious, so I try CBD oil and I think it helps.”

Willie Nelson
Nelson has been open about his use of cannabis and the benefits it has provided him and recently launched Willie’s Remedy, a line of CBD products that include CBD-infused coffee for those who want to reap the benefits, sans the THC.

Montel Williams
Williams was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1999 and has since tried numerous outlets to cope with the pain. His doctor recommended marijuana, and after experimenting he recently launched his own brand of CBD products: Lenitiv.

Whoopi Goldberg
Goldberg has also been open about her cannabis use, and has even created her product line with a friend by the name of Whoopi and Maya, with a variety of THC and CBD-infused products to help deal with women’s menstrual cramps and pain. In reference to her CBD product offerings, Goldberg noted, “I feel like if you don’t want to get high, this is a product specifically just to get rid of discomfort.”

Michael J. Fox
At age 29, Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and has since opened up about his condition and founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation, a charity dedicated to finding a cure. The foundation has invested over $650 million in clinical studies, with some including smaller ones with CBD.

Morgan Freeman
Freeman suffers from Fibromyalgia and recently sat down with the Daily beast and discussed how he treats his symptoms, suggesting that medical marijuana has helped him tremendously. “Marijuana has many useful uses,” he stated, “I have fibromyalgia pain in this arm, and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana.” Freeman also is a proponent of CBD for pain relief.
